I mentor new teachers in the department, conduct informal & formal observations, provide instructional feedback/support and draft summative evaluations for the administration.Through my tenure at NPS I have served multiple times as All-City Middle School Chorus Chair/Coordinator for the NPS system; assisting with repertoire selection, rehearsal coordination and event management.I have served multiple times as District Chorus Chair for District II of the Virginia Choral Directors Association. This involved coordinating student meals for the two day event, hotels for guest conductors & students/teachers from schools on the Eastern Shore, repertoire selection & communication with guest conductors, overseeing receipt of student fees and managing the budget for the event. For the VCDA I served two terms as District Chair, and for the Virginia Music Educators Association, 1 term as District Representative.
