The Campaign was completed 18 months ahead of schedule and raised $102.3 million from over 20,000 individuals, foundations, companies and organizations. The Campaign included: $60 million for capital improvements for modifications to existing facilities and new construction to meet student and faculty needs and $40 million for endowment funding for scholarships, fellowships, special programs, faculty chairs, professorships and lectureships. Plan, develop and implement the $50 million Second Century “Cradle of Dreams” Campaign. The Campaign was completed in December 2009 and emphasized endowment needs, university programs and enhancements and additional capital improvements.Serve as the President’s designee and liaison with various public and private entities.Serve on the President’s Cabinet, University Leadership Committee, Budget Committee and as staff liaison to the Board of Trustees’ Resource and Development Committee.

Direct administrative, technical and support staff; Coordinate all development, marketing, communication and public affairs activities for independent biomedical research organization.Plan, develop, manage and direct $100 million “For the Future of Medical Research” Campaign. The Campaign included: $66 million for new endowment needs; $34 million for capital projects to fund new research programs, expand current research programs, provide financial support for an MD/PhD program, recruit and retain pre-doctoral and post-doctoral trainees and enhance research technology though core facilities and infrastructure.Serve on the President’s Senior Management Team, Strategic Planning & Budget Committee and as staff liaison to the Board of Director’s Development Committee.Serve as the President’s designee and liaison on various community and civic entities.

Manage and direct major gift fundraising efforts for successful $250 million “Bringing Dreams to Life” Campaign. The Campaign emphasized both present needs and future growth and improvements by increasing private support for endowment, special equipment, major renovation, start-up programming and facilities construction.Identify and cultivate ongoing relationships and solicit major gift prospects (foundations, corporations and individuals) within Oklahoma and outside the state.Direct and coordinate development staff and activities at the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine (Tulsa Campus), OSU-Oklahoma City Campus, OSU-Okmulgee Campus and Research/Graduate College (Stillwater campus).Solicit major prospects personally as well as orchestrate the solicitation of these individuals, corporations and foundations by University administrators, faculty, staff and other key volunteers.Develop and administer operating budget and annual objectives.Direct administrative staff and support personnel and monitor work performance.Coordinate with OSU Foundation Trustees, OSU Board of Regents, University President, administrators, faculty and staff in the development, improvement and implementation of academic policies, plans and programs relating to advancement and public affairs.

Provide lobbying and regulatory public affairs support services and assistance for public and private sector clients.Develop, recommend and implement plans and programs for fundraising events and activities, planned giving programs and grants from appropriate organizations.Develop and implement long-range strategic plans for private business/industry sector clients. Perform diverse administrative support duties relating to the interpretation of state, agency or departmental policies, procedures, regulations and laws.Recruit, select and direct administrative staff and support personnel, monitor work performances and initiate associated personnel actions.Develop and implement policies and procedures to fulfill the statutory mission of the Office.Appear before legislative committee hearings pursuant to agency programs, mission, and/or budget; Draft proposed legislation; Propose items of budget; Confer with administrators on matters of staffing, budget and/or policy.Monitor actual expenditures in relation to budget and prepare related reports and analyses for review/oversight with the Legislature.Represent and communicate the philosophy, mission and goals of the Office to a broad constituency of business and industry, education, civic and professional organizations, government leaders and the general public.Serve as primary spokesperson for the Office in responding to inquiries from the Legislature, press/media and the public.Serve as the Lieutenant Governor’s designee and liaison with the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. Work closely with the Legislature, local Chambers of Commerce, State Chamber of Commerce, Higher Educational institutions, existing manufacturing and service industries, appropriate local, state and federal economic development organizations and domestic/international business prospects for the purpose of job creation and career advancement for Oklahomans.Serve as the Lieutenant Governor’s liaison with the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department. Administered the day-to-day operations of this $75 million agency with over 500 employees for approximately six months.

Plan and organize marketing/business development objectives through cultivation and implementation of determined functions and goals.Prepare proposals and qualification statements of architectural/engineering services on various technical projects and studies for both public and private sector clients.Provide coordination on current public and environmental regulations with various federal, state and local departments/agencies and elected and non-elected officials.Coordinate all marketing activities related to the Tulsa Division.Direct and coordinate the technical and managerial aspects of particular projects.Recruit, select and assign administrative, technical and clerical personnel, monitor their performance and initiate associated personnel actions.

Direct statewide $250 million loan and grant infrastructure program for communities and rural water and sewer districts throughout Oklahoma.Co-direct Oklahoma Comprehensive Water Plan.Direct divisions of planning, groundwater, surface water, water quality and dam safety efforts within Oklahoma City and Tulsa offices. Coordinate public affairs with local, state and national officials, interest groups and the public at-large.
