 Create tables, views and stored procedures for Microsoft Reporting Services Reports. The client was migrating from Crystal Reports to Microsoft Reporting Services 2005. On of my primary responsibilities was to convert Crystal Reports stored procedures to Reporting Services store procedure. Also collaborated with the Report Writer to move these stored procedures to the new environment. This also including having to restructure tables and views to accommodate the changes. Create ETL solution for Integration of Consultant data from Legacy system (Fox Pro) and new application (Prowess) into Data warehouse. This involved using SSIS to create migration paths from the legacy systems to the new Data warehouse. Used Visual Studios in conjunction with Team foundation to create these packages. Also converted multiple DTS (2000) packages to SSIS via the upgrade wizard and manually. Migrated Microsoft Access database in SQL Server database and updated the Access to perform as a frontend. Performed database optimizations on SQL Server database including but not limited to indexes and re-structuring of the tables. Worked both onsite and remotely for Tastefully Simple, Inc in Alexandria, MN. Monitored backup and restores as well as documenting the disaster recovery plan.

 Provided database administrative support for Microsoft SQL Server (2000 and 2005 versions) with primary focus on the Survey Point database and the report server MicroStrategy 7.0  Aided in the migration of an SQL Server 2000 application into a SQL Server 2005 version; Aided development staff in troubleshooting connectivity issue and TSQL code optimization; Designed DTS and SSIS package in support of the primary application. Maintained the existing disaster recovery plan for the corporation. Also improved the documentation by adding section for backup logging and also instituting a monthly testing process.

 Provided support for Microsoft SQL Server (6.5, 7.0, 2000 and 2005 versions) databases for state-wide agencies;  Develop application for analysis of database configuration, security, and usages as well as perform standard maintenance, and performance tuning and monitoring.  Develop and implement a disaster recovery plan for state-wide agency databases. Set up and maintain SQL Server 2005 installations in clustered environment. Develop an inventory reporting module for the Data Center as well as a Database Object copying application using ASP.NET and Visual Basic.NET. Develop various DTS package to update server configuration spreadsheets. Provide performance trending analysis and index analysis through the implementation of daily profiler traces

 Managed personnel and was fiscally responsible for the department. Responsible for federal grant compliance for the data collection module as mandated by the federal guidelines Developed case managed client tracking and reporting application utilizing Visual Basic and Visual FoxPro and implemented it at 19 remotes sites in a four state area. Provided hardware and application training to remote and central office staff. This included training on Microsoft Office, the actual application and simple computer hardware maintenance and repair. Develop and implement a disaster recovery plan for remote and central office site databases. Performed grant writing for renewal of federal funding on an annual basis.
