As Public Cloud adoption accelerated in France, I've focused my activities on the creation of service offerings, the design of technical solutions, and the pre-sales phase for projects related to Microsoft Office 365 and Azure. As an active participant in our partnership with Microsoft, I've developed a keen interest in understanding and leveraging the strategies and growth mechanisms that the company has put in place for its partners.

In the process of enhancing our hosting offerings, I had the opportunity to design a new datacenter setup for the company. Starting from scratch, I was able to select the optimal mix of hardware (routing, switching, compute, storage, etc.), suppliers (IP transit, datacenter facilities, hardware, etc.), and software (virtualization, datacenter management, security, etc.) that best met our specific requirements for availability, performance, and competitiveness.This project allowed me to fully exploit the potential of hybrid cloud technologies (like Azure Site Recovery, Monitor, etc.) and hyperconverged infrastructures (such as Azure Stack HCI). More importantly, it provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges IT departments face when they operate their own physical infrastructures, as well as the forces driving the industrialization and market concentration towards globally recognized players.

As part of a fast-growing organization, I had the chance to take responsibility for the virtualization infrastructures (Microsoft Hyper-V, System Center) supporting all the company's IaaS, PaaS and SaaS offerings, in a "24/7/365" context.I was also heavily involved in the administration of a Microsoft Exchange "as a service" messaging platform hosting several tens of thousands of users.These activities underscored for me the importance of automation, security, and understanding customer needs, as well as effective communication with them.
