I am required to, to the extent reasonably practical, to:Observe and enforce any codes of PracticeBe responsible for the proper discipline of all persons under your control.Provide and maintain a working environment that is safe and without risk to the health of employees within my area of responsibility.Identify relevant hazards and assess the related risks within my area of responsibility, to which persons who are not employees may be exposed.Consider employee’s training and capabilities in respect of the provisions of the Mine Health and Safety Act, before assigning tasks to that employee.Provide proper and adequate security training.Provide employees within my area of responsibility with any information, instruction, training or supervision that is necessary to enable them to perform their work safely and without risk to their health.Ensure health & safety and security specifications as required by the client are complied with.Emergency procedure drills are held at least once a month and reported on.Instructions and procedures are from time to time issued to the me and it will be my responsibility to measure and report on the implementation and adherence to these instructions and procedures to the client. Ensuring that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the employer regarding to security services to be rendered.Constantly evaluating the service level provided and making recommendations to the client regarding the improvement of service.Ensure that security staff members maintain the required performance levels. Liaising daily with the client and management on various operational issues.Submitting relevant weekly / monthly incident and general reports as required by management and the client.Investigate all incidents regarding misconduct or poor performance by personnel.Manage and control all company vehicles. Worked at AR Collections CC as a Manager where I was responsible for appointing debt collectors in various areas all over KZN, promoting the business, obtaining new contracts, visiting clients on a monthly basis, interacting with debt collectors under my command and giving support and training. My duties included the visiting of all serious crime scenes, shooting incidents and to deal with complaints against the police.Transferred to Central Firearm Register as the Administration Officer for Kwa-Zulu Natal. My duties were to investigate whether a person is competent possess a firearm. I handled the applications of close corporations and security companies and made recommendations to the Registrar of Close Corporations and to the Board of Security. Show less
