While studying at LSE, I led a team of data analysts, in consultation with data scientists at the Bank of England (BoE), in a project investigating the sentiments expressed by BoE in their speeches, and how these sentiments relate to key economic indicators and historical events. Levering sentiment analysis and data visualisation techniques, we presented insights and recommendations around sentiment use as a means of soft influence.
