• Architect the infrastructure of the IBM Endpoint Manager (BigFix) system to incorporate new modules and functionality (i.e. IBM Endpoint Manager for Remote Control, Software Usage Analysis, Security and Compliance Analytics, Tivoli Provisioning Manager for OS Deployment, etc.)• Manage the IBM Endpoint Manager (BigFix) system including patching servers and assisting with training new console users.• Manage the CommVault backups, improve performance of backups, and architect a new backup setup to take advantage of new hardware and licenses. Manage Quantum Scalar i500 for storage of backups on tape and an HP Tape Library.• Design a new imaging system using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit to deploy a universal image of Windows 7/Server 2008R2 to new hardware for rapid deployment.• Build and Manage Mac Servers for management of Mac Workstations.• Manage Group Policy Objects for workstations and servers.• Review and evaluate new technologies and present them to the team to see if it is something that we should look into purchasing or doing.• Work with Enterasys NAC (Network Access Control) to secure the network from unknown devices.• Use SolarWinds Orion to monitor network, network devices, VMware Virtual Centers, and applications.• Manage Brocade Fiber Channel switches and zone mappings.• Writing How-To/SOP documentation and design technical diagrams.• Use ServiceNOW for Incident management.• Create VMware ThinApps to virtualize applications that have dependencies that are exploitable so that the exploitable dependency does not have to be installed system-wide. (i.e. Java Runtime)
