I’ve always been a curious person, asking how and why things work the way they do, what are the inner mechanics and engineering of it. When I turned 18 I immediately started working alongside my studies: In Logistics, Firewood production, Wood-working…In 2021 I decided on creating my own company and I started selling firewood, this experience allowed me to learn a lot about many subjects from woodworking to mechanics or electronics (when you want to cut cost you learn to repair things yourself !). Sadly I had to close this company after a year as I could only afford to make time for it during the week-ends and school vacations, but this wouldn’t be my last experience with the wood industry.Two years later, we would try with a friend to restore an old sawmill and use it as a production tool for a future company. This second experience made it clear to me that what I was learning at ALGOSUP could solve real problems in the wood industry: I choose to create a software to optimising the sawing process of wood, with the goal to minimise wood waste and be more cost efficient.These experiences have led me to look for a job in the wood industry where I could use my programming skills to solve more issues, automate heavy processes and find innovative ways to increase efficiency in wood production activities.These experiences have led me to appreciate manual work as much as programming and I am currently looking for a job where I could use my programming skills to find innovative solutions, in all fields.
