Mr. Meier reports to the Explosives Countermeasures Unit (ECU) Chief, located in the Special Skills Branch, Security and Law Enforcement Training Division, Office of Training and Performance Support (TPS), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), U.S. Department of State. The TPS is a fully accredited academy through Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA). Mr. Meier serves; as an instructor for Explosives and Improvised Explosive Device (IED) recognition and avoidance techniques with responsibility for planning, organizing and presenting and managing the presentation of one or more of these courses and for evaluating training effectiveness to ensure that objectives remained met. • Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED)/ Explosive Hazardous Reduction Course (EHRC), Mobile Training Team 2A (MTT2A), Freedom of Maneuver (FOM) program, based at Kandahar Airfield (KAF), Camp Simmons, Afghanistan. I have trained the ANSF troops within the different regions of Afghanistan, as directed by my program operations (FOM).
