Throughout my years in the aerospace and tooling industries, I have been fortunate to gain experience in a variety of fields. From composites manufacturing to FAA certified testing. Early in my career I gained manufacturing experience in the layup and curing of composite aerospace parts, carbon fiber and structural aerospace components, as well as parts trimming and finishing. This path transitioned into gaining experience in the field of quality and dimensional inspection. The knowl- edge and experience I gained during this time aided in furthering my career to my current role as Calibration Technician. As a Calibration Technician I have held positions at one of the largest aerospace manufacturers in the pacific northwest, a nation-wide calibration services company and most recently as the Calibration Technician for one of the countries largest wiring tool manufacturers. I recently took on an additional role as a Quality Technician. In this role, I was tasked with various quality improvement duties including creation and implementation of a metrology training program and development of metrology work instructions. The many tasks involved in undertaking these roles include maintaining tool logs, calibration of measuring equipment, piece parts inspection, engineering drawing re- view, calibration of curing ovens and presses, oven uniformity surveys, creating calibration reports, reviewing specifications to ensure calibration requirements, and coordination of all outside calibrations.Thank you for your time and interest.
