I have over 3 years post qualification experience working as a radiographer across diagnostic imaging modalities such as X-ray, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound scan (USS) and also as in Interventional Radiographer (IR). I can confidently carryout most plain film examination such as soft tissue, MSK, chest x ray as well as contrast enhanced special procedures such as IVU, HSG, MCUG, barium studies. I have worked with a multidisciplinary team in the theatre to carry out a large number of urologic and orthopedic surgeries involving fluoroscopic guidance.I ensure the application of safety measures when working with ionizing radiation and ensure compliance with the IR(ME)R2000 and IRR17. Code of clinical practice, CQC, local rules and equally ensuring all examinations are justified by local protocols.I have sufficient knowledge on working with hazardous substances and manual handling applications in my field as I have studied the manual handling operations regulations (1992) and the COSHH regulations (2002).I possess a wide, up-to-date knowledge of Radiographic practice, including mobiles and theatre. it’s crucial to keep up with the latest technology and techniques to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment for patients. I have taken the initiative to attend various training, seminars, and workshops to stay informed on the latest technological advancements and techniques including intensive inhouse trainings and on the job learning.I am computer literate and possess some higher complex functions. Technology plays a significant role in Radiography, and being able to operate specialized equipment is essential. I have had extensive experience using computers, and I am proficient in using various computer programs required for Radiographic practice.
