About Arthur Patrick Mcdeed

PhD candidate in the Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatic, & Biomathematics at Georgetown University. My research interests, broadly, are in the application and development of innovative statistical methods for the analysis of longitudinal biomarker data to better understand the complex nature of human health and disease. Looking to pursue professional opportunities to integrate rigorous mathematical background with interests in the public health and biomedical sciences. Though formal training is in mathematics, educational background spans the disciplines, including study and work experience in education at the K-16 level. Adaptable in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment. Strong ability to effectively communicate, both written and orally, complex concepts and ideas in an understandable way. Deep passion and insatiable desire to continue grow as a worker, person, and life-long learner.
