ResponsibilitiesConducts hearings to adopt plans and plan amendments for various redevelopment project areas; submits reports and prepares recommendations on business retention and attraction programs (e.g., enterprise zone), tax increment finance, school district partnerships, and other matters delegated by the Community Redevelopment Agency; and recommends approval of development agreements for various projects in the redevelopment project areas.Advises on and recommends housing programs including neighborhood improvement programs, federal housing voucher and certificate programs, low interest loans to rehabilitate residential property, and various other federal and state programs; and, performs other functions delegated by the Housing.

As a district representative I provide policy support on issues of: autism, children with developmental disabilities, mental and public health.Staff representative for the City of Santa Ana which includes attending council meetings and understanding community issues such as: housing, business, enterprise zone, business incentive programs, city general plan, and the Property Business Improvement District. Organize and develop events that include: roundtable discussions, town hall meetings, resource fairs, and workshops with attendance ranging from 50 – 6,000.Public speaking, communication and correspondence in Spanish and English.Office Management & SupervisorMaintain office services and efficiency by planning, coaching, orienting .
