The Warehouse and Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse and distribution activities including receiving, picking/packing, order shipments and replenishment of 10 partner distribution facilities across the United States. This role leads the daily activities of a high-volume picking/ packing, ship distribution center, including supervision of approximately 5-8 direct reports. Key responsibilities include planning and execution of weekly / monthly volumes as well as maintaining facilities to ensure production requirements are met. This position requires strong communication skills and a high level of leadership.

I have served in numerous capacities over 24 years. As a Field Artillery Officer, I spent incalculable hours planning and executing fires utilizing computerized GIS/GPS based systems. I’ve commanded a 120 personnel organization, conducted cross coordination with multiple outside organizations within the department of defense, been a lead planner for organizational strategic goals, partnered with foreign entities, over coming language and cultural barriers to improve common interests. Conducted procurement of goods and services and conducted quality control checks during operations. I spent three years of service coaching and teaching army staff personnel on synchronization, utilization of their assigned command systems and creating efficiencies within an organization to conduct cross coordination with exterior entities in order to achieve organizational goals. Responsible for enabling Fires Brigades, Division Artillery, and other functional and multifunctional brigades' ability to practice mission command in a constructive training environment in order to develop commander and staffs standardized practices and functions. Develops and facilitates doctrinally based briefings and workshops to prepare units for the main warfighter exercises. Accountable to analyze staff performance and procedures and provide constructive feedback that allows the unit to increase productivity and efficiencies.

Fort Leavenworth, Ks

Responsible for planning, coordinating and executing large scale constructive training exercises and seminars for brigade level and higher commanders and their staff. Managed the exercise planning process to ensure adequate resources, personnel and facilities were acquired in order to facilitate training for staffs ranging from 35- 200 personnel. Lead the operations section, supervising three Department of the Army civilians and two Soldiers. Accountable for $500,000 worth of automated equipment and scheduling travel/lodging arrangements for 40 personnel in accordance with Department of Defense regulations.

Lead planning efforts from development through execution, providing continuity throughout to the brigade operations officer and brigade commander. Develop and execute fire support plans in support of missions executed throughout the Pacific Command Area of Responsibility.

Served as mentor, guide and coach to prepare cadets for a successful career while serving as commissioned officers in the United States Army. Develop and execute training plans with relevant materials that support Cadet Commands Training Objectives. Establish and review course content to ensure training sessions are doctrinally based to ensure cadets develop leadership skills while increasing effectiveness and efficiency. Provided capability to extended off site locations extending to the continent of Africa and Central Asia. Lead planner for the development of collaborative web based portal (Knowledge Management Developer).

Operator on a TIG welder, fabricating Titan Electric Motor Stator Cores. Responsible to read and understand drawings to ensure stator meets specification for job order. General labor and material handling required (OSHA Heavy Forklift Operation Certification). Additional responsibilities included packaging and preparation of product for shipment.

Management of a four man team, loading and unloading of frozen product for shipment locally and internationally. Responsible for loading and unloading of trucks using forklifts. Responsible for making sure counts were correct and to notify day supervisor of any problems. Responsible for forklift inspections at the beginning and end of each shift and changing batteries as needed. Responsible for unloading product and ingredients to the department in an efficient manner that ensures the optimum efficiency of the entire department. Responsible for EIM computerized scanning of product movements and inventories. Responsible for the completion of bills of lading. Conducted freezer maintenance and warehouse inventory monthly.
