major the NPI job 2 years in the Simclar company, the Harris project was the most challenge for me, the PCB size is 1100mm(length) x 447mm(width) x 9.3mm(thickness) , the layer number is 58, this product need process : SMT + Pressfit+ PTH1. Solder Print process: the PCB is abnormal shape, there are more than 100pcs connector need be surface mounted on the PCB, and the connector is fine pitch component( pitch 0.5mm) and the connector total have 140 pins.2. SMT process:the product is ROHS and double mount, due to the PCB too huge and thickness, so the connector pin and PCB pad heat rate isn't same, it will take the pad don't have any solder on the pad after reflow station.3. PTH process: Although the PCB size is very special, the Fill rate of hole solder still are 75% (no connect ground pad), 50% (connect ground pad)4. rework process: Because the PCB size too huge and thickness , if use the common method, the connector will cann't be taken away and mounted again. And the rework job didn't have any help from SRT and the other rework system.
