Hello, my name is Arthur Tamer Henke, and at the age of 17, I decided to leave my hometown to embark on a great adventure. I left Brazil and came to Portugal to study maths applied to economics and management at the University of Lisbon.This experience gave me the opportunity to learn about a new culture, meet incredible people, and develop skills that help me face challenges today. Throughout my journey, I also had the chance to do a postgraduate qualification in financial analysis, coupled with winning a management competition at university, the ISEG Management Challenge.In addition, during my academic career, I was part of the NGO AIESEC and had the opportunity to lead one team and take part in three others, including recruitment. It was a remarkable experience that taught me a lot about leadership, teamwork, and empathy.During my time at BNP Paribas, I increased the group's efficiency by automating tasks and created a positive and optimistic atmosphere in my team. I also assisted two other teams in the company, which gave me a lot to learn about different processes and areas of the bank. I'm currently an EFFAS-certified European financial analyst and I work as a Portfolio Manager at Lusitania, where I have the opportunity to apply and hone the skills I've acquired throughout my professional journey. As well as work, I'm committed to developing myself in other areas that I think are important in my life, such as programming languages, automation methods, and other languages.I believe that continuous learning is essential to achieving our goals, so I'm always looking for new challenges to hone my skills and evolve. I'm grateful for everything I've learned so far, and I'm always excited to continue growing, both personally and professionally.
