A graduate of West Sussex College of Design, since then I have been involved in video and design businesses, running my own company Signal Communications from the mid-1980s until the early 1990s. I currently work four days each week at big.group, a marketing communications agency providing digital and across the line marketing solutions to a wide range of clients in the B2B & B"C sectors. I manage the creative studio at big group.I am also a published author specialising in the history of Airfix and toys in general together with wide range of military history and collecting topics.I founded Collectingfriends.com in 2006 and pioneered the Spitfix plastic model making marathons winning a Guinness World Record for this achievement. I have appeared on TV on prorammes ranging from C4's Collectors'​ Lot to James May's Toy Stories and have written for various enthusiast magazines and part works.My books, articles and online features are illustrated by my own photographs and drawings.
