I managed the Purchasing Department's Continuous Improvements projects to assure projects stay on track, barriers are removed, and goals are met. I work with the Quality, Production, and Engineering departments to resolve quality issues with internal and external suppliers and I actively investigate opportunities to increase material quality and reduce cost through continuous improvement projects and Kaizens.

Tulsa, Oklahoma Area

I was responsible for the procurement of material and maintaining inventory levels for over twelve internal shops and multiple maintenance, manufacturing, and production bases across the U.S. I isolated inefficiencies in the supply chain, examined the causes, proposed solutions, and finally worked with my team to implement and manage the new process. I was also responsible for managing the procurement process of over fourteen million dollars in repairable shop assets. I worked with our SAP (PARTS360) integration team to test and resolve system issues before they impact the supply chain.

In this role I was responsible for negotiating claim/warranty settlements with suppliers. Areas of responsibility included contract performance (price and delivery), product performance, and mitigated damages due to material failure or failure to deliver per contract.
