I get to use my experience in the diabetes community to help people who are interested in cutting edge insulin pump based therapy.

As a Super Node I seek to find people who could benefit from database solutions and be a resource for the FileMaker platform. We work all levels of teams at companies large and small to provide custom database services to rapidly prototype solutions to workflow challenges.

An umbrella for projects and contract work, figure8 is where I go to grow. I use this project space as a work piece to test for production projects. Active projects include a Wordpress website and video podcast lately the focus has shifted to process automation using QA testing software.

I believe that technology can help people turn seemingly flat data into interesting stories that explain who we are, where we came from, and where we are going. I work at Tyler Technologies where we help people in the public sector take control of their data and the systems they use to manage data to transform that data into actionable intelligence and decisions that have a real impact on our country.

As an administrative consultant, I was asked to assist in several projects ranging from technical support to set up a printer to research and development of business strategies for large fortune 500 companies. Every day was a new job with several different clients. This constantly changing work environment necessitated the development of many organization strategies to minimize set up time between clients.

I started at Camp Joslin as an untrained kitchen aid and after four summers I became the head cook in charge of the kitchen staff. My job was to provide 3 meals and 4 snacks each and every day of the summer. Specific duties included ordering, receiving, training, management, and of course cooking food! I worked closely with the administration and health care team to make sure the menu I helped to develop was appropriate for all of the special dietary needs required by the campers and staff.

I started out as a general substitute working with all ages and subjects ranging from high school science to kindergarden gym. I developed value adding discussion based presentations rather to present in place of study hall. Over time I specialized and focused on working with a single room of children with special needs where I was one of 5 teachers working with between 15 and 26 students.
