I joined Pandora as part of the Rdio acquisition and worked on build processes, especially those involving Jenkins and Docker.

I work on various parts of our infrastructure, from build/deploy to monitoring/alerting. I'm re-architected our image backend so that it would be more resilient, handle more load, and be easily scalable. I was the primary maintainer for the Scala code in that project.

I built a data ingestion adapter for a clinical trials EDC system. I wrote pieces of internal tooling to label the data in the (SQL) database (i.e. like ML work except we were tagging the columns). I worked on the core product itself, especially in the backend, in Scala and legacy Java, and I was responsible for prototyping a new algebraic query language.

At Reametrix, I was tasked to help bring our Immedia image cytometer up to beta release. I completed features, such as tiling of the scanned images, and improved the overall function of the instrument (for example, by automating the recognition of the assay samples).I automated the production of the instrument using a custom edge-detection algorithm.

I was part of a large team at Riverbed, where I completed three major features: SSL support, access control lists, and backup-and-restore, for our team's product. We shipped two major releases together and I assisted my colleagues wherever I could. We did crazy things like peek into the Python source code, if we weren't sure what it would do.
