The NDIA is a non-partisan, non-profit association with a mission to provide a legal and ethical forum for the interchange of ideas between government and industry to resolve industrial problems of join concern. Field verification of structure and neighborhood changes put in place since the 2000 Census. Provide base-line data for actual census count and data gathering to take place in phases to come.

Led multidisciplinary team in pre and post sales activities such as interviews, site visits and assessments, white board sessions, presentations, demonstrations, and pilot projects ... all contributing to consensus on customer problems and vision for resolution. Objective was to collaboratively set and fulfill customer's expectations for monitoring, securing, assuring compliance, and providing reliable proactive management of their autmated infrastructure. Often, clients were interested in finding, defining, and implementing best practices. ITIL principles used as a guide. Integration with other infrastructure management systems often an important objective.

Managed team of 14 IT professionals to enable smooth transition from legacy systems to new SAP implementation. First step was to document and make operable legacy systems which had become imoperable as key personnel deserted the enterprise. Concurent task was the documenting of the capabilities matrix for inclusion in the new, single enterprise management system being built. Final steps included identification of the 30% shortfall of capability in the new system and making recommendations for meeting this challenge as legacy systems were shut down.

Prepare, run evaluate operations simulations with customer staff and decision makers to exercise customer's new automated environment. Interact with customer staff to determine issues for follow on engagements.

Managed multi-departmental groups to design, develop and implement internal management systems including an automated Development Plan (entry point for innovative ideas from MCI employees and customers with management views and ability to sponsor bringing ideas forward) and MCI wide Program Management system with consistent project definition, plans, resource identification and executive visability into key projects.Represented MCI and led MCI team working with British Telecom and with DEC on collaborative products and developments.Chaired PM quality circle, point person for due dilligence investigation of (selected) new initiatives intended to obtain competitive advantage.Reorganized new group combining four groups of displaced employees which led to increased productivity and 100% retention, then eliminated own position as change agent.
