As a career communications professional, I have extensive experience in high-volume sales, marketing, and advertising across multiple verticals for all sizes of organizations. Start-ups, established players, boutique firms, you name it, I've worked at it or for it. Since completing my MBA in December 2022, I have enjoyed moving my career from pure sales into sales training, strategic management and operations. I love working with organizations that have established sales processes that need scale growth, refinement, refurbishment and revision. An ultimate professional aspiration is efficiency - I love designing and structuring the most efficient approaches possible. I've been described as both "Mr. Question" and a human Energizer Bunny, which means I ask a lot of good, probing questions quickly. I embrace the challenge of mapping a plan and have the energy to see it through. Throughout my MBA, I worked in the Business Career Center connecting students and recent graduates with career opportunities, coaching and raising UIC's profile with employers as a premier source of the dynamic talent necessary for a vibrant, productive 21st century workforce. I just started a sales director position with Focus Ten Consulting, which aims to translate data insights into actionable sales agendas for manufacturers and distributors. This past summer, I interned at one of Chicago 'Fast 50' corporations, PerkSpot, designing the onboarding process for the entire Client Success Team, where I created onboarding timelines, designed self-assessments to monitor progress and really got a better understanding of how various parts of sales teams fit within large organizations.
