Served as one of 5 mechanical systems engineers that assigned, monitored, and scheduled intense work of a 15-member West Test Area-Mechanical Technical Team, with a total of 100 team members. Planned and prepared Test Preparation Sheets for maintenance, reconfiguration and tracking requirements of the Main Propulsion Test Article Facility.

Promoted to manage fast-track turnaround assignments within the Administrative working group, managing the Test Laboratory’s Historical Records Archive Project that involved supervision/monitoring of 25 team members (civil and support contractors). Created a library of smart sheets detailing a variety of Top Quality structural metallic mechanical properties of aluminum, nickel, steel and titanium superalloys. Assigned to design an in-house Nuclear Propulsion Materials Laboratory. Selected to observe data as it related to a laser net shaped stainless steel project, as well as, evaluating multiple fatigue properties of titanium welds. Simultaneously charged with leading the laboratory’s Reliability-Centered Maintenance Initiative, Risk Management Investigation, and other key directives. Developed and authored broad range of laboratory plans, including IT Acquisition Security Support, Communications, and Master Testing Documents.

Served as principal designer and developer of an off-site/outsourcing Electronic Fabrication Facility to support the manufacturing group’s expanding outsourcing requirements. Held multiple roles that included Manufacturing Planning Engineer, Assistant Planner and Scheduler, Facilitator for Fabrication Corrective Actions, Internal Lead Auditor, and Outsourcing Manufacturing Monitor. Supported International Space Station’s Materials Science Research Rack (MSSR) and Glove-Box Integrated Microgravity Isolation Technology (G-LIMIT) Fabrication activities and project teams.

Fulfilled objectives in supporting this entire special red team, a.k.a., the NASA Operational Environmental Team (NOET) of 12, all technical senior managers at Marshall Space Flight Center, the Office of Space Flight at NASA HQ, all NASA Prime Contractor Designated Engineering Representatives, and multiple other team members.Provided critical assistance and leadership support to an information management team providing environmental replacement technology data to the manufacturing and training industries. Managed multiple special assignments, including media and public relations recruitment. Evaluated and selected alternative cleaning solvents to replace hazardous materials. Supported acquisitions and logistics for several in-house sponsored environmental conferences, technical exchanges, and contractor support meetings. Volunteered to assist with key robotics and amateur rocket programs for high school students.Drafted and Generated Numerous Minutes, Papers and Publications, Assisted in the Coordination of NASA and Prime Contractor Enviornmental Replacement Activities, Supported All Team Teleconferences and Scheduled Video Conferences. Returned to Metallurgy and Failure Analysis, after a Special Detail, as Laboratory Lead Engineer. Assignments included: metallographic analysis, resolving performance driven issues, and new potential alloy material problem recurrences. Laboratory Lead Engineer for the Redesign Solid Rocket Motor (RSRM) Program, Lab Lead Engineer for the Tethered Satellite Experimental Payload. Also, I was a Lab Lead Engineer specifically responsible for Representing the Materials and Processes Laboratory on all Acceptable and Compatible Materials & Processes required to meet and support all design considerations and proposed hardware needs. I was invited to serve on the RSRM Configuration Control and the Advanced Solid Rocket Motor Source Evaluation Boards.
