Using online tutorials, video content, automted quizzes and live demos, I am bringing the O+P Digital Deisgner curriculum to students, tasked with making their first 3D printed transtibial socket.

Shaping, designing and creating CNC boatkits for plywood construction and traditional cedar stripping. Using industry software to preview the finished shape, construction, and cutpaths, working with the client to create comprehensive building schedules and designs that fit the requirements of regular paddleboards.

Lake Placid, New York

Working with Certified Orthotists and prosthetists to design, fabricate and service orthotics, braces, prosthetics, and assistive devices. I am also responsible for running and servicing 3d printers within the office.

Misericordia Hospital

I designed and produced medical assistive cutlery for Glossectomy patients (facial surgery and deformity). Involved working with a patient, interviewing hospital professionals, ideating and production of prototypes, testing, cost analysis and final deliverables within a concise time frame.

Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital

I designed and produced aesthetic prosthetic coverings for the prosthetic division, exploring the emotional recovery aspects for amputees, as opposed to strictly physical considerations currently being applied to prosthetic design. This involved research into budget, target group, materials, production revision and customization towards the final design.

University Of Alberta Hospital

I created a proposal for the ECHA initiative through the University of Alberta to design a new visual aid for vial labelling and organization for seniors, that involved an adaptive, one size fits all product for existing medical infrastructure. Collaborative team effort with fellow designers and pharmacy students, utilizing each others skills effectively.
