I am the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of YouTrip, a regional financial technology company dedicated to creating a next-generation digital banking experience in Asia. I oversee the company’s strategic vision, product direction and technology development.My expertise is in product development, system design, big data applications, high-performance financial applications, secure payment authorisation within the PCI environment, and multi-currency settlement processing engines. I am passionate in entrepreneurship and creating innovative products with design thinking. I graduated from MIT with an MS degree in system design and management and a BS degree in aeronautics and astronautics with information technology. I also studied at UC Berkeley, holding a master in information and data science with a specialisation in deep learning applications. Prior to founding YouTrip, I spent two decades in product and technology roles across the US and greater China. I served as product lead at Tencent, working with product managers to develop sets of viral features at the WeChat product centre in Guangzhou. Additionally, I worked at VTech, directly under the Group President and CTO to launch 80 consumer products across gaming platform and consumer electronics. I was also part of a team that designed a variety of high-tech products such as new aircraft engines at General Electric’s Advanced Technology Group and an award-winning electric car (CityCar) at the MIT Media Lab in the US.----------------We love customer feedback on our product.
