Project involves determining the correct upgrades, parts procurement, cost estimations, contracts with outside maintenance and construction corporations and successful overall management of company and contractor personnel.Designed and implemented change out of valves for the anhydrous ammonia injection system for NOx control on a Siemens 501G combustion turbine and heat recovery steam generator. Since the gasket material in the pipe system was changed from industry standard to Teflon and the valves have been changed out to Teflon lined valves, ammonia leakage from these areas has been eliminated.Installed rotor lift system for Siemens 501G combustion turbine to reduce required starting torque. The system greatly extends the life of the torque converter by reducing starting torque to the operating level. Upgraded compressed air system for Lakeland Electric McIntosh Plant to provide sufficient reliable dry air source for both instrument and service air needs. The project required only a 4 hour system outage to change some system piping to accommodate system upgrades

As manager for Maintenance, Receiving and Housekeeping at Dillard's Department Store, managed 12 to 17 persons to upgrade cleanliness of the store, provide up to date and current maintenance, and provide fully accurate receiving/documentation. Provided vastly improved documentation in all areas in addition increased monthly personnel scheduling and daily assignments.

As Operations Manager for a start-up publishing company producing both portable and non-portable guest services directories for the hotel industry, performed accounting, scheduling, payroll, organization, documentation, and human resources functions on a daily basis.

Designed and specified an environmentally safe storm water drainage system for the City of Lakeland McIntosh Power Plant. The drainage rates are based on FDOT standards. Sized and specified water production and water treatment requirements for potable and service water, sanitary sewage treatment requirements and facilities, and electric power requirements and sources for a $250,000,000 fertilizer plant in Palmyra, Syria.

Designed boiler operating system which permits operation of boilers at maximum electrical load capability with full safety valve protection, even with largest safety valve gagged.Investigated and engineered a solution for boiler enclosure side wall tube failure problems for nine duplicate boilers on Florida Power & Light system to prevent unscheduled outages costing $2 million/day/boiler.

Audited power systems equipment records for operations and maintenance at Dallas Power & Light plants to advise management of required equipment repair and replacement policies. Results avoided downtime and lost revenues of $100,000 to $4,000,000 per day.

Designed power boilers ranging in capacity from 150 MW to 1300 MW firing natural gas, fuel oil, and coal. Also determined and designed solutions for various boiler problems as described by the owners. Reviewed blueprints, assessed correctness of installation, and tested the equipment to meet schedules for $71,000,000 Saudi Arabian boiler installation project while working with and training an international work force.

Observed and analyzed assembly processes and procedures, induced management and line personnel to cooperate and improve the quality and efficiency of the operation. As a result, developed and implemented a new line which produced a product with costs reduced to 67% of the projected selling price of $0.04 per unit. A by-product of this process enabled the new line to produce double the required production rate of 700,000 units per month with 33% reduction in personnel.
