As the Senior Designer for the Dufresne Furniture and Appliances brand, I was responsible for overseeing and maintaining the new brand roll-out under the supervision of the Sr. Manager of Creative Services. Aiding in new brand initiatives and brand quality assurance over ongoing projects done by the design team. Review work from designers and provide feedback and sign off. Develop ongoing brand guidelines and create templates for the design team. Explore the day-to-day design duties of the design team to streamline processes. Aid in production as needed to fill bandwidth gaps.

Assist in the creative direction for marketing campaigns and concept development for both small-scale and large-scale projects. Spearhead design and overall art direction/visual aesthetic for the design team to follow/execute. Provide mentoring and constructive feedback to the design team. Review and approve creative/designs, ensure creative effectively meets the project brief and production standards. Assign projects and tasks to design team members.Create brand identities and accompanying design systems. Provide on strategy and fresh creative that is appropriate for clients’ target markets. Work as a liaison between the account team and the design team during the creative process.Create wire-frames, user flows and develop website direction in collaboration with the account, the development and management team. Conduct and participate in the interviewing of prospecting candidates for the design department. Conduct performance reviews and evaluations of current team members.Develop presentations and participate in pitching creative to clients. Attend meeting briefs to develop the scope of a project. Estimate creative budgets according to briefs. Create storyboards for motion graphic videos and art direct photoshoots.

Worked closely with the Creative Director and designers on creating deliverables for marketing campaigns, publications, point-of-sale pieces, infographics etc. At times presented design concepts and corresponded with clients throughout a project. Developed creative solutions to display content and improve User Experience while delivering an eye-catching and practical User Interface.

Lead on UI/UX. Worked with the Web Producer to evaluate the goals and structure of websites (research, mood boarding, wireframing, prototyping ideas). Provided design support and collaborated with the digital marketing team for online marketing and promotions. Along with supporting the Strategy Team on branding and campaign projects.
