For 6 months I worked as an employee at the NHS Covid Test Centre providing people with support upon their arrival. My responsibilities would include directing incoming patients, providing them support when needed and answering any questions they had while completing their tests. Was also PPE and Health and Safety trained while at this job.

Within my model for the course for Business management we had to organise a fund raiser for a charity that we were able to chose. The main objective of this was to raise awareness for the chosen charity in the local area and them financially also. From this experience, I was able to learn communication skills and have also gained experience in working as a team.

For approximately 3 months, I trained to work in a restaurant located in Worcestershire. Along with working behind the bar, I was assigned a variety of tasks in relation to the general upkeep of the restaurant. I left early as I had a proposal from my parents to help them run the family business in Greece. From this experience, I was able to gain experience in working independently by being given the responsibility of looking after the customers. Also, from this managerial experience was provided that I will be able to take in to account for future potential jobs.

When in High School, I had a weeks work experience at the Hive located in Worcester. I chose to work here to provide me with a better understanding as to how archaeologists operate in their designated work place. Here, myself and others who were participating in this work experience, were tasked to create a report on a field that had potential of being a medieval village. When doing this, we travelled to the site and were provided with equipment that we would soon be trained to use in order to aid us in finding our results. From this work experience, I was able to gather experience in working in a team with strangers who I had not previously met before. I was able to gain experience in using my own initiative when it came to conducting the research
