I am currently 100% dedicated to the re-launch of GOSSUIN, about 10 years after the project was interrupted in 2011.I never pictured myself doing anything like this and yet... To be fair, I always wanted to release a physical and tangible product I can feel and touch. That combined with my love for "savoir-faire" and taste for bespoke garments convinced me to join Alain GOSSUIN in this adventure.Besides the currency the design that did not age since the 2000s, what convinced me the most was the method Alain and his co-founder had developed during the first iteration of GOSSUIN. They had indeed deconstructed every garment, reviewed their history and devised the best way to put them together with a single objective in mind: create close fitting, yet comfortable garments in which you can freely move.Re-launching this project was also a perfect occasion for me to try something different, a new model, something in line with our ethics and personal values. Continuing the tradition at GOSSUIN, we are committing to creating durable, superior quality garments with quality natural materials manufactured by decent European partners that share our vision of quality and finesse. This is why a GOSSUIN shirt is twice as long to sew together on average as a regular one. This comes at a price, but you will keep it for a long, long time.To mitigate the price points and make our creations as accessible as ever, we are trying out a model that proved it can work, working one single garment at a time, never putting our items on sale, and focusing on pre-orders to reward our most faithful backers. This allows us to set an adjusted price all year long (190€ vs 360€ in the past for a shirt) and a steal on pre-orders at around a 100€. Our ambition: put our superior and durable garments on as many people as possible.
