Project: In-silico Study of Phytoconstituents as an alternative for Anti-Cervical Cancer Drugs - Gathered information on phytoconstituents from various plant sources with documented anti-cancer properties. Compiled a diverse dataset, including molecular structures and known bioactivities of selected phytoconstituents. - Conducted an extensive review of existing literature on cervical cancer, molecular targets, and mechanisms of anti-cancer phytoconstituents. Identified relevant proteins and pathways associated with cervical cancer progression. - Retrieved three-dimensional (3D) structure of target protein involved in cervical cancer using Protein Data Bank (PDB). - Prepared ligand structures of phytoconstituents. Optimized ligand conformations and minimized energy to ensure accuracy in the docking simulations. - Employed molecular docking techniques to predict the binding affinity and modes of interaction between phytoconstituents and target proteins. Utilized software tool AutoDock for efficient ligand-protein docking simulations. - Selected lead phytoconstituents based on docking results for further investigation through molecular dynamics simulations. Conducted simulations to explore the dynamic behavior and stability of ligand-protein complexes over an extended period. - Analyzed the binding sites of target proteins to understand the specific interactions with phytoconstituents. Investigated the potential of the identified binding sites for drug development. - Assessed the Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion, and Toxicity (ADMET) properties of lead phytoconstituents. - Analyzed docking scores, molecular dynamics trajectories, and ADMET predictions. - Selected phytoconstituents with favorable properties for further consideration as potential anti-cervical cancer drug candidates.
