● Collaborated with partner institutes to design, develop and deploy the indigenous project on “High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy Cancer Treatment Project”. ● Designed, developed, fabricated and successfully installed several mechanical accessories and the miniature iridium source capsule using CAD software. ● Applied for and got approval of various IEC certifications of the HDR Brachytherapy Cancer Treatment unit. ● Improved positional accuracy of the Radioactive Source Drive Mechanism used in HDR Treatment Unit from ±1mm to 100µ by using CAD, FEA, and experimental setup. ● Led a team of four scientists and oversaw overall performance and functioning of all subsystems and accessories to ensure successful industrial trials of the HDR Treatment unit.● In collaboration with the partner companies, reviewed design basis reports of ventilation systems of active and inactive areas and oversaw the installation and commissioning of the Molybdenum Production plant project.

•Studied the mechanical behavior of the systems and equipment employed in the high radiation environment of the nuclear reactors. Studied reactor physics and technology of the nuclear reactors and specifically the fast breeder reactors.•Project: Design Analysis of Master-Slave Manipulator's slave Arm tubes by using FEM Suggested the change in construction material and design modifications of the slave arm of the Master-Slave Manipulator and performed the Finite Element Analysis to calculate the load carrying capacity and deflection to verify the mechanical strength of the new design changes by using ANSYS.
