Primary accomplishments:Part of small group refactoring monolithic application into microservices.Created A/B testing framework/service that ensured consistent presentation of variations to individual users , supported multiple distribution algorithms, had ad hoc conversions and could be set up for "testing the tests".Brought Redis into the stack for caching purposes, significantly lowering latencies in several cases. Optimized legacy geocoding interface, cleaning up the data model.Major contributor to monitoring process, using statsd interface to InfluxDB and Datadog. Made use of anomaly detection to proactively discover system errors.

Created web services interfacing between internal applications and MSSQL and MongoDB databases. Worked on ETL application for retrieval of reference information from vendors (via FTP, web services and email links). Used Python, shell scripting, some JavaScript and C++.

As a guest of the Object Oriented Programming and Systems group, I was involved in two major projects:1) The investigation of use and implementation of extensible grammars in the definition of programming languages.2) Main implementor for a project developing a preloadable library for gathering process level virtual memory access trace information (without instrumentation or probe effect) for investigation into locality of reference.

Developed framework to unify disparate legacy applications, as well as new development, under a common architecture. Access to information within the organization was tied to individual user profiles.
