I’m a Health Educator with 7+ years of experience of working with diverse community members on topics across Sustainable Menstruation, Reproductive Health Advocacy, Sexual Health Education, Social Entrepreneurship, MHM, STI screening and other healthcare interventions across 5 states in India. My education Public Health Anthropology has allowed me a strong understanding of the association between socio-cultural dynamics & sexual health and pleasure in India- which is unique in the way it largely remains a taboo.Apart from working on ground among communities I spend my time off creating and curating sexual health & sex education resources - disseminated using social media on my community of 21k (& growing!) people on Instagram. I was nominated as the Sexual Health Blogger Award by Cosmopolitan India, for my contributions in the digital advocacy space in 2023. I currently also work in the Community Building, Growth & Marketing vertical at Allo Health- India's first dedicated chain of sexual health clinics. My experience and learnings as an anthropologist & an educator have come in handy to create crucial understanding of the sexual healthcare space in india- where the clinics operate as well as that of the members of public who could potentially seek treatment at the clinics. Building key sex-ex resources via podcasts, videos, Infographics and other multimedia formats has also been part of my work here. Being at Allo has helped me learn about & developing a keen interest in the various online and offline marketing strategies often necessary to sustain as well as grow businesses. I am keen to bring my passion for sexual health education to this innovative platform and help increase access to quality sexual medicine & healthcare for individuals in India. By working with Allo Health, I hope to make a positive impact on the sexual health of individuals and communities in the country.
