Hiroshi founded and incorporated Artisan Crew Engineering in February of 2001 using personal funds earned through his development of a system commissioned by a major Japanese S.I. firm because he wanted to avoid the common pit-falls of investor based IT businesses. While he had only been in the IT Industry for a relatively short 7 years, he was considered to be a revolutionary thinker in Japan, a country whose SE sector is controlled by large, unwieldy "Soft(ware) Houses" for his vision and understanding of the fact that piece-meal architecture and farming out of coding to 'programmers' invariably fails to create truly useful systems and results in massive losses of time and money for the system customers.Among his achievements are personally developing, creating and coding systems for pre-IPO companies on a scale that usually involve a team of up to 10 different people, in the same amount of time. To date, his custom systems that include one for the American subsidiary of Sanyo semi-conductor, have had a 100% success and satisfaction rate in comparison to the 55% rate for the larger systems manufacturers.Hiroshi's expertise includes System Engineering, Software Engineering and Database Design, all of which he carries out after a lengthy and through system consulting process which is one of the secrets of his system success. He has independently developed a tool he calls 'DBWriter' that not only speeds up his system development process, but makes it more cost-efficient as well.Originally from a small town outside of Nagoya, Hiroshi graduated from the Engineering department of Shizuoka University, after which he moved to Tokyo to pursue his goal to become both a first-rate guitarist and musician as well as an elite engineer.
