I began in the carpet and restoration industry in 1989 with my Brother-in-law. In 2000 the company was bought by Canstar Restorations and at the time the 2 companies combined had 25 employees. Today, (2012) Canstar employs around 200, 3 locations, and continues to grow. The restoration industry is as intriguing as ever with even greater emphasis on efficiency and productivity. Business as usual is no longer acceptable, the new status quo must exceed the needs, demands, and expectations of all parties associated with any restoration project. It is much more difficult to succeed as a restoration contractor in today's business climate but with strong leadership and a commitment toward excellence, it is achievable and can be very rewarding. I am very excited about my new role as a trainer and business coach and look forward to contributing to the success of others.As a trainer and a business coach I also have the pleasure of working alongside Dan Murray, CR, CVB as a member of Your Restoration Coach.
