Greetings to the world 👋I am Vikas Garg, an artist, curator, and the founder of Artlune—an online art gallery and artist collective championing young and emerging artistic talents from South Asia. The inception of Artlune in 2018 emerged from my personal journey, after graduating with a BA in Fine Arts, and facing rejections when seeking entry into traditional art galleries.I encountered similar experiences among fellow artists, many of whom switched to non-artistic careers for sustenance. I found a common struggle in selling artwork and securing commissioned projects.Faced with the potential of having to compromise my passion for practicality, my brother, a mechanical engineer, and I decided to create a community to support artists. This collective endeavour gave birth to Artlune, fueled by a shared commitment to reshape the art landscape and empower artists. 🎨In the course of Artlune's development, I curated numerous group exhibitions, both physical and online, at prestigious venues, offering a global platform for emerging talents. Our dedication to artists extends beyond mere sales; Artlune is a supportive ecosystem for artists. We host workshops, and attend art fairs and festivals, connecting artists with enthusiasts and buyers.
