Participate in review and oversight on cross Department/Agency technology committees, international cooperation S&T Programs, and the Weapons Technology Community of Interest (CoI). - Participate in Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) Senior Advisory Group (SAG) reviews on weapons, and provide independent analysis on the Technology Readiness Assessment (technical risk) of weapons prior to Milestone B (entering the Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase).- Participate with the Intelligence Community in reviews on assessments of red weapons, and in blue weapons against red forces.- Prepare briefings and point papers for senior leaders in ASD(R&E).

Worked on Army transition requirements (logistics, provisioning, spare parts, technical manuals, training, materiel fielding plans) for aviation 3rd Gen image intensifier night vision system, ANVIS.

Enrolled as an Army Civilian (GS) as a student in the one year program at the DARCOM Army Intern Training Center (later renamed the Army Material Command (AMC) Intern Training Center). Enrolled in the Production/Product Engineering Program. Fifty students were enrolled full-time at the training facility for engineering college graduates to receive additional specialized training as Army civilian employees in Product/Production Engineering, Maintainability Engineering, or Safety Engineering. The training consisted of a combination of 1920 hours of specialized classroom college level courses in Engineering, Materials and Processing, Manufacturing, Operations Research, Statistics, Modeling and Simulations, and courses on Federal and DoD policies and regulations. Graduates then took jobs at Army RDT&E centers, depots, or production facilities.
