Ux Designer
02/18 - Assigned to PwC Digital Experience organization.- Lead designer in an engagement mapping application. The requirements were to upgrade the application to current design standards while being cognizant of current sprint limitations and development resources. I started the work by performing a user flow and site map. The results showed there were the different entry points and certain pages that were key to the flow were not being addressed in the original requirements gathering. The work continued with an update on the requirements as well as wireframes to visualize the flow in a more natural web environment. A prototype was built in UXPin to show the interaction the team requested. 03/16 - 10/16Assigned to Envestnet.Part of a team assigned to a big wealth management client. Created prototypes for usability testing with their clients. In charge of creating task flows, task analysis, site map documentation, and deliver a functional specs document to their offshore development team.09/14 - 09/15Assigned to Citi’s Digital Experience organization. Part of the team in charge of building prototypes forusability testing. Built a prototype to improve the workflow and increase customer’s engagement during the process of signing up for paperless statements.

Product Management Specialist
Part of team assigned to work closely with business analysts & design team to ensure integration with back-end technology and a great user experience. While there, I learned about their user centric design process and how the analysis of needs and purpose helps bring together users in whatever software is being proposed. I learned about user experience by using communication and concepts familiar to the user rather than system oriented processes. Another process that I went through was learning about user interface design, minimizing user's memory load by making objects and actions visible, the user should not have to memorize information from one part of the dialogue to the other. Even though is better if any system can be used without documentation, it is still important to provide help and such information should be easy to search and focused on the user.
Marketing Sales Coordinator
Improved productivity and decreased internal labor costs by utilizing online capabilities of current CRM software, no more wasting paperCreated controls and measurement systems for merchandising projects, scheduling, fulfillment tracking and orderingAnalyze and solve pricing and cost issues related to margin percentage and product rebatesMonitor and track all purchase orders, invoice payments, and matching processes from beginning to endWork with suppliers to ensure timely, accurate and relevant product information and post that information on our intranetLower the overall cost of goods to our franchisees and be a liaison between our suppliers and storesAssist business owners and maximize their understanding and knowledge of the latest technological advancements in electronics and appliances
Customer Service Representative
Customer service representative in a call center environment. Our team, 5 at the time, consisted of answering phone calls to the 1-800 number and log the calls. The details were put into a tracking system and sent to the local district manager to take care of. The majority of the calls were complaints about service at the store, delivery issues, and product features. The biggest takeaway was a visit to work at a store for a week and experience first hand the interaction between customers and front line staff. I learned the value of empathy and how easy it is to overlook it and influence the rest of a conversation. By working at the store, I was able to be in store personnel "shoes" and really find out where most of the issues our call center was being contacted for. Upon returning, all of us changed the way we communicated with customers and try to diminish the contact between a district manager and customer by "fixing" the problem on the spot.
