PJ Maa Partners is consulting company that specializes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and business development. My role consisted of all tasks related to mergers, acquisitions and other consulting activities. Main responsibilities were financial analysis & valuation of companies and managing due diligence -processes.

Part of the widely recognized trainee program of the biggest financial service company of Finland. The program aims to give young and enthusiastic professionals a quick start into responsible and challenging jobs. While I was officially working in corporate banking, as a trainee in Lounaismaan Osuuspankki I was given the opportunity to participate and gain a wide understanding of different financial services: this means that I was able to participate in all of the business lines of a typical financial service company. The former name of the program was manager trainee, which is a clear way to describe the wide variety of my position.

As the financial lead my responsibility is to handle our whole financial process, but it includes several non-finance tasks as well. Some of the key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Ensuring that we meet our legal liabilities, being part of the auditing process- Budgeting and following the actualized numbers- Creating guidelines regarding the use of our funds; creating step-by-step guidelines for the whole financial process- Representing Tribe in events - Planning and organizing our activities/strategy- Becoming familiar with all the key actors in Tampere startup scene to be able to link people with each otherI spend approximately 15 to 20 hours a week working. Even though I get compensated for the work I do, this position includes a lot of voluntary work also which is fueled by my enthusiasm towards developing the startup ecosystem in Tampere.Tribe Tampere is an association that provides space, platform and community for entrepreneurial people. We want to increase the amount of entrepreneurial people and startup companies in Tampere and develop the city’s startup culture by helping key players and startup companies to connect. Tribe Tampere has grown rapidly and it's becoming a significant facilitator in the Tampere entrepreneurial scene.

Widely different tasks related to payroll: calculation of salaries, payroll accounting, consulting & giving guidance to our customers. Responsible for handling the whole payroll processes of selected customers.

I worked in centralized service team which produced services concerning corporate funding for areal units of Osuuspankki. Key responsibilities were handling different tasks concerning collaterals given to those areal units.

My past summer jobs consist of working in construction sites. For total I have 9 months of experience in this area.
