About Artun Bestepe

Artun Bestepe has been in the textile industry for the last 11 years in various segments of the industry. Textile is a family business for Artun. His grandfather started a company 65 years ago in his hometown Istanbul/Turkey. And Artun is the 3rd generation of that flow. Currently, Artun is representing his company in USA as customer representative. By having meetings with buyers and collecting orders that can be manufactured in Turkey. Meanwhile he runs sourcing operations for local buyers. Before moving to NYC, Artun has also involved in production part of apparels and has a background in production segment of textiles as well. In addition, Artun has attended to some certificate programs which are hold by Intertek and Istanbul Chambers. Outside the textile industry Artun has attended events that equipped him in different business areas such as organization business. He volunteered in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week as head officer for press. While working for official PR company of the show. Also, he attended to several International-MUN meetings in Europe as delegate or ambassador of different countries and world bank.
