Artur Cebula main area of interests are heat transfer and energy conversion, inverses heat transfer method and numerical calculations. His overall experience is a combination of R&D works, academic work and industrial cooperation. The results of these works have been proven in papers published in scientific magazines and conference proceedings. Arthur Cebula became proficient in the field of thermal engineering through participation in projects and research works. He also gained practical experience with rotating machinery during his work for GE Energy.Institute of Thermal Power Engineering (IoTPE), Cracow University of Technology Since 2003 he has worked in IoTPE starting as a research assistant. His has been involved in a number of research project related to thermal power engineering, heat transfer, power plant installation elements. After the PhD graduation in 2004 he was promoted to an assistant professor position. In 2019 he was promoted to an associate professor position. In research projects he worked as a contractor as well as a projected leader where he demonstrated his management skills. The responsibilities also included the work assigned from industry: experts, calculations, tests. As a academic teacher he gives lectures on such subjects as thermodynamics, heat transfers, CFD, Steam and gas turbines.GE Aviation (2013-2015) He held the position of Lead Engineer in the division of combustion chambers of aircraft gas turbines. He dealt with heat transfer design of the combustion chamber toroidal elements, designed cooling systems for thermally loaded fire-tubes, flame deflectors, heat shield, etc. He acted both as the project leader and as a design team member.GE Energy (2007-2009) Artur Cebula worked in GE – Steam Turbine team occupying the position of Lead Engineer working as a member of an international engineering team. His work concentrated on new product development, stage design works and supporting repairs engineer by performing numerical analyses. To carry out related projects he had to master state of the art engineering tools. Most work was resolving quickly and efficiently with the client's time constraints. Other responsibilities included: design of turbine stages; document the completed work in the form of technical reports.
