I've been in my current cure role for over 6 years and have seen the rise of Food Assistance and Medicaid with the impacts of the Economic Recession. The Division I manage has over 70 employee's and serves over 71,000 individual clients within El Paso County! We have a great team producing amazing outcomes for our community....GO 100 and GO EPC!

Supervised the Diversion team for over a year! During this period ourbteam assisted many families in El Paso County to remain self-sufficient by providing them temporary Financial assistance, Food assistance, Child-care, and Medical assistance.

Supervised the ongoing team within the Food Assistance/Medicaid program at DHS. Learned to manage large caseloads, hundreds of calls a day, backlog, and changing policy.

Case managed a caseload of over 75 families and lead them to self-sufficiency. Developed IRC's(Individual Responsibility Contracts), completed eligibility, and worked with Spanish speaking population.
