As a researcher specializing in molecular physics, I have dedicated the past eight years to unraveling the interplay between matter and light at the quantum level. This journey has led me to the intersection between chemistry, physics, computation, and data science.As a chemistry student, my goal was to understand the theory behind why atoms and molecules behave the way they do. With that goal in mind, I pursued a second degree in Physics and began self-training in computer science. This not only advanced my initial goal of understanding atoms and molecules but also sparked new interests in physics and computer science.It is precisely this mixed background in chemistry, physics, and computer science one of the foundations of my research experience. My toolbox for solving problems has been enriched by working in such distinct research areas as radiation chemistry, attosecond physics, superfluidity, or molecular magnetism. In these projects, I have not only deepened my understanding of atoms, molecules, and light, but I have also learned to program parallel applications for high-performance computing clusters and developed proficiency in many data analysis and visualization techniques.After a postdoc at the German synchrotron (DESY) in Hamburg, I am looking to transition into a role where I can apply my research and computational skills to address real-world problems.
