About Arun Deep
For the past 25+ years, I have held different software industry positions. I started as a developer, then became a software architect, R&D manager, CTO Unit4 T&E, Engineering Director responsible for People Platform in Unit4 and now CTO at Semine. Semine utilizes AI to achieve full automation of the AP process. All relevant data from the invoice, including individual invoice lines, is accurately and efficiently captured, recorded, and allocated. This streamlines the accounts payable process, saving time, improving data quality, and optimizing resource utilization.This experience of working in different positions has given me an organisational and technical understanding of value chains across a business. I have collaborated closely with operations, customer-care centres and development teams across different locations. It has given me experience and knowledge on getting the best out of other groups working in different cultures.Earlier in Unit4 T&E, I had successfully migrated to a SaaS offering on the public cloud. This project had architectural, management and organisational challenges. It has helped Unit4 T&E to become a cloud product genuinely.In my previous job, I established and operated a software development centre in India. This department consisted of 30 software developers. Kongsberg Gruppen AS bought this company, and is today known as Kongsberg Digital.
