Professional candidature:Over 23 years professional experience in social sector programs, the last sixteen years of which has been in bilaterally supported projects that aims synergy with government interventions perceived and planned as part of prevalent sectoral policies.Over 23 year’s professional experience in social development sector, I have been working with international and national projects (bilaterally supported) that aims to support government initiatives on health and other social areas and provide technical inputs in implementation and operationalization of programme and establish synergy and coordination between both the partners.At present I am working with Plan International –India Chapter – UNFPA supported project for Ministry of health and family welfare GoI, as Team Leader to provide technical inputs on National level medical officers training on Adolescent Friendly Health Services (AFHS) under “Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK). The Objective of the virtual training project is to train and build capacities of 1000 Medical Officers under RKSK on responding to the needs of adolescents in a more comprehensive manner and create a master trainers' pool at the state/UT levels and build capacity of identified medical officers on various concerned thematic areas of adolescents.The state master trainers post training are expected to conduct sessions for their respective state “Adolescent Friendly Health Clinics” (AFHC) doctors/counsellors and provide them with correct and appropriate information on issues related to adolescent health.With World Bank assisted project for Ministry of health and family welfare Uttar Pradesh, as Senior Technical Advisor Social Accountability intervention and provide technical input in social accountability component to the programme. The objective of the programme is to improve the efficiency, quality, and accountability of health services delivery in Uttar Pradesh by strengthening the State Health Department’s management and systems capacity. As a part of this process, it proposes to introduce Social Accountability Mechanism to improve health service delivery. It proposes to build trust and capacity among citizens by involving them in improving health service delivery mechanism and holding health service providers accountable and increasing their responsiveness to client’s health needs.
