In my role as WRFM Team Lead for the super giant Majnoon Oilfield, I have accountability for achievement of oil production targets, well integrity management for 80+ wells, production restoration and optimization, development planning support, surveillance planning and execution, well interventions, reserves estimation, business planning and performance management for an asset with current production capacity of 235,000 bpd.

1. Providing reservoir engineering technical advice and leadership for company’s onshore assets in Assam and Gujarat and offshore assets in Cauvery Basin and Mumbai offshore (PY-1, PY-3, B-80). Providing simulation, reservoir management, reserves, business development, and new ventures support. 2. Identified sidetrack opportunities for an offshore gas field (PY-1) on decline. Supported planning and execution leading to increase in production from 2 MMscf/day to 12 MMscf/day. Carried out material balance study, production performance analysis, transient test interpretation, fit for purpose dynamic models, prosper models. (SPE 195481 titled “Revival of an Offshore Gas Field: Case Study of a Fractured Basement Reservoir, PY-1” presented in April 2019 at OGIC, Mumbai)3. Carried out field development study for an oil field in Mumbai Offshore (B80). Petrel RE/Eclipse for simulation, pressure transient analysis, PVT study. Study led to significant increase in reserves through integration of available subsurface data. Innovative Marginal Offshore development which will open up the locked in potential of similar marginal fields in Mumbai Offshore.4. Identified cost effective completion design for a multi-stacked gas field . Monobore completion design to reduce the lifecycle cost of well by more than 40%. 5. Brought about significant improvement in well and reservoir management of the producing assets. Ensured each producing asset has a WRFM Plan documenting the surveillance requirements, Well Integrity testing compliance. Built simple surveillance tools to aid in well monitoring.6. Identified several 'behind pipe' perforation and workover opportunities or Kharsang Field using 'Locate the remaining oil' workflow.7. Prepared an alternate field development plan for PY3 field taking advantage of the existing PY1 infrastructure.

- Subsurface lead and Sr Reservoir engineer accountable for preparing appraisal / development plan for a multi-stacked oil and gas reservoir in Western Desert in Egypt operated by Bapetco (June 2015 - Dec 2015)

Coordinate and assist a multi-disciplinary subsurface team in maturing an infill drilling campaign and surface facility expansion, defining an updated Field Development Plan and improving subsurface understanding through surveillance and analysis.Responsible for formulating and implementing Well, Reservoir & Facility Management improvement plan for Koula

As member of IRM team, worked on several high profile field development study work from different geographical regions.June 2010 - Jan 2011 : Deputy team leader and Senior Reservoir Engineer for integrated reservoir modeling of a mature oil field in Nigeria - project planning and execution of integrated study, generation of history matched reservoir models. Well workover, infill drilling and field production strategies updated.March 2010 - June 2010 : Senior Reservoir Engineer providing consultancy services to Shell Todd Oil Services in New Zealanad for generation of simulation models to support drilling of an infill well in mature Maui fieldJanuary2010 - February 2010: Senior Reservoir Engineer leading history matching efforts of Baram field in Malaysia.- As TA3, responsible for quality assuarance of reservoir engineering content of hydrocarbon maturation studies- Actively participate in the Shell Global IRM team activities and ensure that applicable cost effective global best practices and technology are transferred to Shell Technology India- Hands-on coaching of junior petroleum engineers
