Project Quantity Surveyor at A-Grade MEP Contracting CompanyAs a Project Quantity Surveyor at a leading MEP contracting firm, I oversee key MEP projects across Qatar, reporting directly to the Site Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Commercial Head.Key Responsibilities:Interim Payments: Prepare and process interim payments for completed works, follow up for approvals, and maintain cash flow by tracking payment schedules. Liaise with client representatives for clarifications and prepare payment summary reports.Site Monitoring: Conduct regular site visits to oversee work progress and material inventory, assist QA/QC with inspections, and prepare final bills. Anticipate future cash flow needs by coordinating with the site team and project planners.General Management: Maintain documentation of design changes, quantity adjustments, and budget updates. Prepare budgetary proposals, perform quantity takeoffs for interim and variation purposes, and update commercial reports for senior management.Subcontractor Oversight: Approve subcontractor work and costs, validate supplier invoices, supervise payments, and ensure value engineering while adhering to budget constraints.

In this organization my role is Estimation & Post tender Quantity surveyor and directly reporting to Commercial manager and Commercial head.Key responsibilities:• Payment and variation claims• Quantity Take off• Subcontract management• Estimation in tender • Assiting in preparing contract documents• Preparation of Final bills• Value engineering• Preparation of reports to management• Going to multiple sites for billing purposes.
