Has about total of twenty two years of rich and dynamic experience. He has spent over sixteen years in the field of market research and six years in broadcasting - electronic and print media. He is successful in launching and promoting DOTCOM CONSULTANTS - his own market research group in 1998 and specializes in the field of IT and Telecom. He has carried out the most challenging projects country wide amidst high working pressures. Apart from that has above six years experience in media and publications as freelance journalist. Arun has worked in different capacities with All India Radio and National Television as an outdoor broadcaster, producer and a commentator. Has a fair amount of experience in handling programs and spot coverage’s. Also has interviewed people from various sections of society including those in authority. He has written various articles besides arranging discussions on current affairs (for AIR) in published format for Kashmir Times – a leading newspaper published from J & K. He has acted as a coordinator of the National Symposium (Youth Culture and Creativity) organized by Ministry of Human Resources and Development to frame the National Youth Policy at IIM - Joka, Calcutta (Dec'96). Arun also has a long association with SPIC-MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth). Arun’s achievement has been to start the Sindhu Festival in 1993 in Ladakh (J&K). This was in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism (Govt. of India). The festival attracts tourists from across the world every year and gets a glimpse of Indian heritage and culture.
