I am a mechanical engineer and a team leader at Schindler India, where I manage the existing installations of elevators and escalators, ensuring customer satisfaction, safety, and revenue generation. I have a passion for engineering and a drive for continuous improvement and learning.Previously, I worked as a mechanical maintenance engineer at SEFPRO, a leading manufacturer of refractory products, for over two years. There, I implemented various maintenance methodologies, such as preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance, to improve machine availability, reliability, and performance. I also led and completed two projects to optimize the productivity and efficiency of the mouldshop and the forklift usage, using tools such as time study, motion study, and value stream mapping. I received multiple awards for spearheading these projects, which resulted in significant cost savings and operational excellence. Additionally, I attained Level 1 certification as an elevator and escalator engineer, and enrolled and excelled in the prestigious Young Manager Program at Schindler India, demonstrating my commitment to professional growth and leadership development. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology in 2020, where I learned the fundamentals of design, analysis, and manufacturing of mechanical systems. I am also interested in astronomy and space, and I enjoy learning new technologies and best practices in the field of engineering.
