Performing as Material Expeditor in Hadi H Al-Hammam Marine Department.The job includes understanding the neediness of materials for Utility / AHTS Vessels.Vessels. Contact various vendors inside Kingdom as well as Outside Kingdom.Processing Purchase order and follow-up with Owner - Vendor for payment and shipment arrangements.Maintaining the ERP System for Material updates and maintaining the stock, in-out details.Receiving material requisition from the vessels and coordinate with Stores to arranging the spares if available in stock.Raising material requisition thru ERP system and coordinate with purchasers to procure the materials based on the required time.Contact various suppliers’ local / international getting quotation and issue Purchase orders for required materials / spares.Monitoring materials stock availability, coordinate with store in-charge to replenish the stock to avoid any shortage.Following up material requests with local purchasers as well as with international vendors.Coordinate with accounts department for payment process and keep updating suppliers to ensure receives materials on time without fail.Communicate with vessel Captain / Chief Engineers to know the requirements and the important of material / spares requirements.Arrange with Courier Services / Freight forwarders to collect and deliver the materials from international suppliers.Knowing the export / import rules of various countries and arrange all the required documents to collect the spares / materials without any hassle.Monitoring the shipment movements until it reach to the warehouseOn receiving the stores, making store entry and delivery note to be issued to vessel along with material.Maintaining records of supplier contracts, agreements, goods ordered received.Managing vendor relationships and building effective supply chain partnerships.Administrating the online purchasing system.

Take Care in functions related to Cash against Document, “Letter of Credit” Creation, Amendments, Acceptance, Bill Discounting and Negotiation with Banks.Verifyes all documentation for accuracy and completeness.Responsible for keeping entire physical and electronic documents.Co-ordinates with shipping agent for clearance on overseas deliveries.Applying certificate of orgin, phytosanitary certificate online.Track shipments and communicate with clients about progress.Frequent face to face meeting with clients and getting new orders.Customer issue handling provides information about the shipment and related documents.Monitoring Sea Freight & Demurrage incurred on Material Vessels.Answers telephonic calls and email messages.Keeping a record and maintaining cycle counts of entire inventory in the warehouseReceiving, verifying purchase orders listing and assisting labelling, tagging and packaging of the goods.Outsourcing Boom Loaders, fork lift for offloading and stuffing containers.Calculate timber sizes and stuffing containers and trailers.Collecting cheques from client’s place, Safekeeping clients CDC, PDC cheques and depositing on date.Managing day to day expenses of the company.
